On the day of her wedding, Selena saved her true smiles for Nick. Whenever he looked at her, a smile would light up her whole face. It was incredible to watch.

Sweet moments - there were so many of them on this rainy wedding day.

Since both, groom and bride, are shy, they decided to read their personal vows to each other in private.

Ceremony location was questioned all morning: Indoor. Outdoor. Indoor. And, again, outdoor. No, indoor that is! So many guests were packed into the indoor chapel creating a very cosy and intimate ceremony!

RACHAEL & JASON - ST. JOHN SACRED HEART PARISH CEREMONY & BRIDGEWOOD RESORT HOTEL RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - SHERWOOD AND NEENAH, WI - GOSIA'S PHOTOGRAPHY

I met Rachael and Jason for the first time just four days before their wedding day... and they are absolutely awesome! Fun, funny, totally in love with each other, in other words, an ideal couple! And, let's not forget to mention their family and friends!

Each wedding I try to come up with a 'different' way of photographing wedding details. St. John Sacred Heart Church has beautiful windows... I used them as the backdrops.

Rachael and Jason wanted to do a 'corner shot.' That's when the couple are in the same room, but choose not to see each other. The bridal room didn't have any good corners ;) so I had to get creative and use closet doors as the divider.

I have been photographing weddings for thirteen years and this is the first time when the bride and the groom sat in two different aisles. Although a little bit different, it created a different point of view during the ceremony.

This sums it up... I love this photograph!

The bridal party took a short drive to High Cliff State Park in Sherwood. The portraits turned out beautifully. 

It's their college tradition...

The reception took place at the Bridgewood Resort Hotel. From vintage cake topper to flowers from Phase2 Floral to the music band, The Presidents... it was a perfect night!

STEPHANIE & JASON - BRIDGEWOOD PREMIER HOTEL CEREMONY & RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - NEENAH, WI

I remember the day I met Steph and Jason like it was yesterday. We were sitting outside. The initial consultation was fun. There was a lot of laughter.  After the meeting, as they walked to their car, they were holding hands.  At that moment I knew this was a special couple that I really wanted to photograph.

Magdalena & Derek - St. Margaret Mary Church wedding ceremony and Bridgewood Resort reception photographer - Neenah, WI

The majority of my bridal couples hold their weddings in Fox Valley but reside elsewhere; Magdalena and Derek are one of those couples and they came all the way from sunny California.

I love photographing first look -- bride and groom or bride and her bridesmaids. It's always a fun moment!

The ceremony took place at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah. What a beautiful place for a wedding mass.

Magdalena and Derek took their out-of-state bridal party to Riverside Park in Neenah. 

Magdalena, my second Polish bride to photograph (the first was my sister, also a Magdalena).

The reception took place at Bridgewood Hotel Resort in Neenah.

The sharing of the bread, salt and wine is an old Polish tradition. At the wedding reception, the parents of the bride and groom, greet the newly married couple with bread, which is lightly sprinkled with salt and a goblet of wine.

With the bread, the parents are hoping that their children will never hunger or be in need. With the salt, they are reminding the couple that their life may be difficult at times, and they must learn to cope with life's struggles. With the wine, they are hoping that the couple will never thirst and wish that they have a life of good health, and good cheer and share the company of many good friends.

The parents then kiss the newly married couple as a sign of welcome, unity and love.
