Photographing families of my past bridal couples is always such an honor. Here’s a sneak peek from the mini session at Plamann Park… twenty minutes of photo time, one cute family hiding from the cold wind, lifetime of memories.

When I book bridal couples via phone and don’t meet them until the day of their engagement session, I always laugh when I drive to meet them… it’s somewhat weird to drive up to a car and ask the people in it if they are ‘my couple.’ And, Alec and Emily were today’s couple… so totally in-love, adorable, and willing to do whatever it takes ;)
Can you believe that, at the beginning, Emily was slightly uncomfortable in front of camera?!!
I have never had a groom-to-be just pick up his bride without any direction… he went, whoosh, and there it was… another great photo.
Creating magical images can sometimes be met with raised eyebrows… like, ‘you two go around under those trees, and then sit in between all the brush,’ but then, this is what we get. :)
The day started with rainy clouds but ended with a beautiful sunny weather, an awesome couple, and a ton of laughter.
From the moment I met Jen and Eric, I knew they make a great couple. It was so obvious to see how much they are in love. The looks and smiles they had for each other... made my decision to photograph their wedding a no brainer.

The reception took place at the Liberty Hall in Kimberly.
And, they partied the night away.

I had a great time photographing these two... Due to our schedule conflict, we opted to do an early engagement session... and oh, my... what an awesome light we had for their session. High Cliff State Park was a perfect backdrop for these two love birds!
Cannot wait for their wedding next year!

St. Francis Xavier Cathedral - thus far, the most gorgeous cathedral in northeastern Wisconsin.
