She was the most organized bride I have ever met, he the most easy going groom in a long time. In a nutshell, Heather and Clay could not be an any nicer or more lovely couple.
The beautiful set up for Heather and Clay's ceremony.
Their wedding was full of personalized details… They had a ring-BEAR-er!
They opted for the first look. I love when couples do that! It's always a moment of calm tenderness.
It rained. And then, it poured. And then it stopped raining, but it was already dark. Needless to say, we only had five minutes to take photos outside the castle.
The cool bridal party!
Yes, here's the mentioned ring BEAR-er!
Unlike many couples, Heather and Clay decided to go with the handfasting ceremony. The custom made rope represents many facets of their relationship.
Photos around Houdini museum….
Almost right after the ceremony we headed to the reception venue: Fox Banquets Rivertyme Catering in Appleton.
Heather and Clay put in a lot of work to make their wedding special and unique.
In lieu of a guest book, their family and friends got a chance to write on puzzle pieces. What a great idea!
One of the most unique parts was the guitar picks. One of the most appropriate 'keepsakes' since Clay is in a band.
After a delicious dinner, the guests partied hard. It's safe to say that everyone was on the dance floor at one time or another.
