Zach and Kira go together like ice cream and pie. Sweet, caring, and very thoughtful, their relationship can be described in one word: goals!

The reception was at Bubloz Nature Preserve.

There were few speeches. Bride’s father had a small gift for the newlyweds.

This golf loving couple tied the knot on one of the hottest days this wedding season. But, looking at the photos, the only thing one can see is love… and lots of it!

COURTNEY & PATRICK - WHISPERING SPRINGS GOLF CLUB WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - FOND DU LAC, WI - GOSIA'S PHOTOGRAPHY

The weather the whole week before Courtney and Patrick’s wedding day was so rainy, that even I was looking at the forecast. All the worrying was for nothing; the weather turned gorgeous for Courtney and Patrick’s special day!

The bridal bling…

Personalized Converse shoes and one of the most beautiful veils ever.

Growing up in Wisconsin, everyone knows that when it comes to football, the Minnesota Vikings are one of the Green Bay Packer’s biggest rivals… but this wedding couple tried to bridge the ‘differences’ even if by a small wedding detail. :)

Patrick shared the story behind the tie pin with me… and then, I had the chance to photograph his mom’s reaction to his decision to wear the pin on the day of his wedding.

Courtney asked if we could do the first look (btw, I love photographing those moments)… this time, Patrick’s best friend ‘went’ first… oh, and there was so much laughter! There were even jokes that perhaps, Kody isn’t the only fake bride seeking the first look…

I’m so glad we used the reception room as the background for the first look. The room at the Whispering Springs Golf Club is simple but that is what makes it great!

Veronica and DJ’s wedding was the best way I could ever hope to start any wedding season.

Veronica and DJ got ready at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan.

Lucking out on the beautiful weather, Veronica wanted to make sure we took full advantage of the great location… and, so did !!

One of the funnest mother-son duos.

Vern and DJ decided to not only do the first look but also to exchange letters beforehand.

First look…

After getting ready at Blue Harbor, we headed to Road America for the wedding celebrations.

One of my all-time favorite photos of father and daughter (look at their hands).

(insert heart emoji…. times five :)) PS. No, it’s not a typo, just loving this image so much.

I have at least one pic per a wedding of a groom checking the tightness of the ring ;-)

Road America’s grounds did not disappoint… such a well done race track.

At the end of the day, V&DJ, made a lap on the world famous Road America race track… all of the 14 turns on four mile road!

When I book bridal couples via phone and don’t meet them until the day of their engagement session, I always laugh when I drive to meet them… it’s somewhat weird to drive up to a car and ask the people in it if they are ‘my couple.’ And, Alec and Emily were today’s couple… so totally in-love, adorable, and willing to do whatever it takes ;)

Can you believe that, at the beginning, Emily was slightly uncomfortable in front of camera?!!

I have never had a groom-to-be just pick up his bride without any direction… he went, whoosh, and there it was… another great photo.

Creating magical images can sometimes be met with raised eyebrows… like, ‘you two go around under those trees, and then sit in between all the brush,’ but then, this is what we get. :)

The day started with rainy clouds but ended with a beautiful sunny weather, an awesome couple, and a ton of laughter.
