These two lovely people decided to marry in a super small ceremony. Kristen’s brother walked her down the aisle where she was met by both her husband to-be and dad (who presided over the ceremony).

Some had a hard time (but still looking cute as a ring bearer), but overall, the excitement was in the air.

The wedding ceremony was originally scheduled to take place in the Green Bay area, but due to COVID, it had to be relocated to Kristen’s hometown. The University of Northern Illinois in DeKalb campus became the background for their portrait session. The yellow trees created beautiful contrast to navy details.

Thank you, Kristen and Jarod, for having me document your beautiful wedding day. Cannot wait to celebrate with you yet again next year!

A year in review - 2015 wedding photographer - Gosia's Photography

This year has been amazing. My bridal couples have taken me from Green Bay, to Oneida, Kewaunee, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Chicago, Minneapolis, Neenah, Clintonville, Menasha, New London, Neenah and of course Appleton. It was fun revisiting known venues such as Lambeau Field and exploring new ones like Timber Rattlers' and Oshkosh Country Club.  From deep snow, to sunny days, to rain (and even tornado warning), to super windy to just plain freezing, 2015 has been a blast. And, I wouldn't change a thing!!

Revolution Brewing wedding ceremony and reception - Chicago, IL - Julie & Blake

Pouring rain and a tornado watch didn't put a damper on Julie and Blake on their wedding day at the Chicago brewery and pub, Revolution Brewing. Better yet, during their ceremony, it rained and the sun came out, so I bet there was a rainbow someplace near by :)

Julie and Blake were getting ready at the Conrad Hotel... It was a perfect background for getting ready shots, their first look and formal photos.

Ed of Chicago-based Ed and Aileen Photography, was second shooting this fun wedding (Thanks, Ed! It was great seeing you again!).

We ventured to Kedzie Street bridge... Unfortunately, it started to rain almost as soon as we got there, but we still managed to get great photos with downtown Chicago as the background.

Michigan lakeside engagement session - Chicago - S & B

Photographing my clients in places dear to their hearts makes me happy, so when Brooke asked if I could come to Chicago for their engagement session... well, that was a no brainer. Rain, snow, hail.... nothing would stop me :)

We walked around the lakeshore in the Evanston area... It was a beautiful day... windy, but at the same time it was 74 degrees. Just a perfect day for a perfect location.

And, a perfect ring ;)

I'm looking forward to their wedding. It's going to be a spectacular affair.
