The Heritage Hill’s bridal suite got a makeover. Emmy was the first bride to use this much bigger space :)

So many great moments… with mom, her sister, bridesmaids, Kale, and dad… so many!

The guests who could not witness the ceremony, were still able to greet the newlywed couple.

The colors… the background… loved every minute of it!

COURTNEY & PATRICK - WHISPERING SPRINGS GOLF CLUB WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - FOND DU LAC, WI - GOSIA'S PHOTOGRAPHY

The weather the whole week before Courtney and Patrick’s wedding day was so rainy, that even I was looking at the forecast. All the worrying was for nothing; the weather turned gorgeous for Courtney and Patrick’s special day!

The bridal bling…

Personalized Converse shoes and one of the most beautiful veils ever.

Growing up in Wisconsin, everyone knows that when it comes to football, the Minnesota Vikings are one of the Green Bay Packer’s biggest rivals… but this wedding couple tried to bridge the ‘differences’ even if by a small wedding detail. :)

Patrick shared the story behind the tie pin with me… and then, I had the chance to photograph his mom’s reaction to his decision to wear the pin on the day of his wedding.

Courtney asked if we could do the first look (btw, I love photographing those moments)… this time, Patrick’s best friend ‘went’ first… oh, and there was so much laughter! There were even jokes that perhaps, Kody isn’t the only fake bride seeking the first look…

I’m so glad we used the reception room as the background for the first look. The room at the Whispering Springs Golf Club is simple but that is what makes it great!

After dinner, we snuck out for a couple of sunset photos… what a beautiful day for a beautiful wedding.

COURTNEY & PATRICK - MENOMINEE PARK ENGAGEMENT SESSION PHOTOGRAPHER - OSHKOSH, WI - GOSIA'S PHOTOGRAPHY

I don’t think I laughed so much during a session in a while… Courtney and Patrick make such a funny, smart, and loving couple.

Their session took me to the Menominee Park in Oshkosh. I like photographing there because the sun is just on the right side of the lake ;-)

The wind totally worked in our favor!

ANNIE & KEELAN - JAMES J. HILL CENTER WEDDING CEREMONY & RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - ST. PAUL, MN

I first met Annie and Keelan in May 2016 when Keelan was the best man at Chris and Danielle's wedding. A few months later, they contacted me to see if I would be available to photograph their wedding. Even though the celebration was scheduled in St. Paul in December, there was no hesitation on my part. My answer was yes! Keelan was a great best man, Annie was super sweet, so I knew that we would be a great couple/photographer match. 

And, oh, my! How l love their wedding... Annie and her mom, did a great job with the planning... to the very last little detail. And, they both are such delightful ladies. 

But, don't take my word for it... just take a look at the beautiful photographs...  

Annie was getting ready at The St. Paul Hotel... old world charm in every room, even in the hallways.

Bridal details... the dress was amazing: lace with a hint of blush pink in the underskirt (disclaimer: the stole was made out of synthetic material).

Groom's details. Keelan prepared for the ceremony in one of the smaller rooms at the James J. Hill Center. 

I photographed their first look in one of the library balconies.

I tried to have them be as sheltered from the wind as possible but I cannot believe how brave these people were... we are talking about 30 degree weather with wind chill. The result... beautiful photographs set against the white marble of the library.

At dusk, Rice Park was lit up by thousands of Christmas lights...

Annie's flowers were beautiful... so beautiful in fact, that she did not dare to take them outside. 

The ceremony was officiated by their close friend. She did a great job. And the couple's vows... well, I had tears in my eyes (and possibly a few blurry pictures).

Many great speeches (and a few tears) took place at this wedding.

To the last detail, this wedding put an exquisite end to my 2017 wedding season!

Danielle & Christopher - Minnesota Landscape Arboretum wedding photographer - Minneapolis, MN

Danielle and Christopher's wedding day was full of laughter, love and wonderful weather (I need to mention that May in Minnesota can be on the cold side).

Their ceremony took place at the wonderful Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Despite, the gardens being full of visitors, Danielle and Christopher's ceremony was an intimate event., surrounded by close friends and family, 

Bridal bling... Since the ceremony took place in a garden, I chose to photograph all the bridal details in the beauty of Mother Nature.

Either inside, or outside, the arboretum has plenty of great spaces to photograph in.

The bridal party... love seeing familiar faces (one of Christopher's groomsmen was Eric, a groom from my December wedding).

Reception took place at the 6SMITH restaurant in Wayzata... awesome space and awesome food!
