I don’t think I laughed so much during a session in a while… Courtney and Patrick make such a funny, smart, and loving couple.
Their session took me to the Menominee Park in Oshkosh. I like photographing there because the sun is just on the right side of the lake ;-)
The wind totally worked in our favor!

The first time I met Rachael and Jason was on the day of their engagement session. Due to their busy schedules we were unable to meet prior, but let me tell you... I just LOVE them! They are just a perfect ying and yang of a couple!
In ten years of photographing in Appleton, this was the first time lilac bushes were perfectly in season for a shoot, making for a lovely background :)
Cannot wait for your wedding in just four days!
On the day of Shelby and Ryan's engagement session we had a huge storm. The Green Bay Botanical Gardens were soaked in the warm rain, but Mother Nature did not disappoint... we had three minutes of a wonderful partial rainbow!
As soon as I saw the rainbow, I asked them to run to the edge of the sidewalk and 'just kiss.' That was their first kiss of the session... first kisses are usually uncomfortable since the couples don't really know me yet, but I must say that Shelby and Ryan had a perfect kiss!
The flowers were in full bloom at the GBBG.
I had an awesome time photographing these two... cannot wait for their wedding in April!
Photographing at the Lakeside Park was a first one for me… what made it so easy was the couple. Stephanie, Dereck, and a baby make it so easy. :)
