I met Rachael and Jason for the first time just four days before their wedding day... and they are absolutely awesome! Fun, funny, totally in love with each other, in other words, an ideal couple! And, let's not forget to mention their family and friends!

Each wedding I try to come up with a 'different' way of photographing wedding details. St. John Sacred Heart Church has beautiful windows... I used them as the backdrops.

Rachael and Jason wanted to do a 'corner shot.' That's when the couple are in the same room, but choose not to see each other. The bridal room didn't have any good corners ;) so I had to get creative and use closet doors as the divider.

I have been photographing weddings for thirteen years and this is the first time when the bride and the groom sat in two different aisles. Although a little bit different, it created a different point of view during the ceremony.

This sums it up... I love this photograph!

The bridal party took a short drive to High Cliff State Park in Sherwood. The portraits turned out beautifully. 

It's their college tradition...

The reception took place at the Bridgewood Resort Hotel. From vintage cake topper to flowers from Phase2 Floral to the music band, The Presidents... it was a perfect night!

SHELBY & RYAN - FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH CEREMONY/HOLIDAY INN RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - FOND DU LAC, WI - GOSIA'S PHOTOGRAPHY

I really have the best bridal couples! I mean it!!

To date, Shelby is the most super prepared and organized bride I have ever had the pleasure photographing! At the same time, Shelby and Ryan were also completely laid back, fun and so easy to work with. 

Because all of that, I was able to capture lots of beautiful moments... from getting ready, to bridesmaids, to seeing her dad, to the ceremony and beyond... their day was filled with them!

Shelby's mismatched socks represented 'something borrowed and something blue.'

I love capturing sweet moments... and symmetry. This photo has both aspects :)

I don't think I have to say much about the next three photos... the bride with bridesmaids; with her father; and a moment ('corner shot') with her husband to-be.

Ryan and Shelby ventured out to the Lakeside Park... we had an exceptionally beautiful day (unlike the weather on their engagement session)

Fun Wisconsin Fact: A week before their wedding, we were knee-deep in snow aka Winter Storm Evelyn... but you wouldn't be able to tell that from these photos :)

BARBARA AND ALEC - SAINT MONICA PARISH CEREMONY PHOTOGRAPHER - WHITEFISH BAY, WI - GOSIA'S PHOTOGRAPHY

Barbara contacted me about six weeks before her wedding. She said she would like me to photograph the ceremony and portraits afterward... and if I were willing to travel to Milwaukee. We spoke on the phone two times and she settled on meeting me for the first time on the day of her wedding. I couldn't stress more how awesome Barbara and Alec are. They make a great couple and a lovely family!

Bridal details...

If I were to tell you that this photo was taken in the church basement, you wouldn't believe me, would you? St. Monica Catholic Church in Whitefish Bay (near Milwaukee) has the best church basement I have ever seen!

Right before ceremony, Barbara's parents welcomed Alec's parents... it was a very nice moment.

I usually don't photograph Communion during any Mass, but due to the size of the side chapel, I was able to capture this moment.

ANNIE & KEELAN - JAMES J. HILL CENTER WEDDING CEREMONY & RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - ST. PAUL, MN

I first met Annie and Keelan in May 2016 when Keelan was the best man at Chris and Danielle's wedding. A few months later, they contacted me to see if I would be available to photograph their wedding. Even though the celebration was scheduled in St. Paul in December, there was no hesitation on my part. My answer was yes! Keelan was a great best man, Annie was super sweet, so I knew that we would be a great couple/photographer match. 

And, oh, my! How l love their wedding... Annie and her mom, did a great job with the planning... to the very last little detail. And, they both are such delightful ladies. 

But, don't take my word for it... just take a look at the beautiful photographs...  

Annie was getting ready at The St. Paul Hotel... old world charm in every room, even in the hallways.

Bridal details... the dress was amazing: lace with a hint of blush pink in the underskirt (disclaimer: the stole was made out of synthetic material).

Groom's details. Keelan prepared for the ceremony in one of the smaller rooms at the James J. Hill Center. 

I photographed their first look in one of the library balconies.

I tried to have them be as sheltered from the wind as possible but I cannot believe how brave these people were... we are talking about 30 degree weather with wind chill. The result... beautiful photographs set against the white marble of the library.

At dusk, Rice Park was lit up by thousands of Christmas lights...

Annie's flowers were beautiful... so beautiful in fact, that she did not dare to take them outside. 

The ceremony was officiated by their close friend. She did a great job. And the couple's vows... well, I had tears in my eyes (and possibly a few blurry pictures).

TIFFANY & TYLER - CLINTONVILLE CHURCH CEREMONY & KI CONVENTION CENTER RECEPTION PHOTOGRAPHER - GREEN BAY, WI

When Tiffany and Tyler contacted me, I was so excited. I had photographed Tyler's older brother's wedding six years ago. It's such a privilege and honor to be asked back!

The wedding was gorgeous. Surrounded by friends and family, Tiffany and Tyler's celebration was one for the books.

Moments before the ceremony... 

The ceremony took place at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville.

Since Tiffany is a school teacher, it was only appropriate to ride the bus to the next location. The bridal and family photos were taken in Tiffany and Tyler's backyard! They have a great place!

I saw them running, excited, in the corner of my eye...

Snuck out for sunset photos right outside the KI Convention Center in Green Bay.

Tiffany's grandpa's school desk was used to hold cards... and they had a beautiful 16x20 print from their engagement session framed and nicely displayed.
