Mike and Kristin wanted a summer wedding. It happened that their perfect Door County venue had one opening at the end of July. They created a perfect wedding day in just three months!
On the way to Door County's Woodwalk Gallery.
The Woodwalk Gallery is a 1890 revitalized barn. It is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding gathering.
Kristin's wedding accessories were delightful.
Kristin was getting ready in an upstairs studio space that had divine light and fabulous art was on walls.
I just love when my couples decide to do the 'first look.' It's a moment that's always filled with anticipation and joy.
No matter where one looked, the grounds were a perfect background for gorgeous photos.
Getting ready for the outside ceremony.
Mike and Kristin "Dr. Seuss inspired vows may have taken a few guests by surprise but they were a perfect reflection of the importance that humor plays in their relationship."
Hoping for some sun, Kristin and Mike end up doing a second round of photos (photographer's dream decision ;))
The guests played lawn games while enjoying local Wisconsin beers and appetizers.
All Wisconsin, all local was the focus of the reception. The food was catered by Mike and Kristin's close friend. The guests enjoyed pulled pork, mac and cheese, cherry pie, popcorn and milk & cookies (just to name a few).
And of course there was a beautiful and tasty cake!
Kristin and Mike's wedding soiree was perfect from the beginning to the end. It was my pleasure to be a part of this wonderful wedding.
