Sarah and Frank’s wedding was filled with so many beautiful moments. Their ceremony was one of the most spiritual outdoor wedding celebrations I have had the honor photographing.

Never did I ever expect to do a session via internet… but it was awesome!! Over the years I have photographed Sam and Andrew’s engagement session, wedding, maternity, first born, multiple family sessions… and now, a virtual newborn and family session. It was definitely a first one for me.
Sam contacted me almost at the beginning of her pregnancy asking if I could do a FRESH48 session once the baby was here. Usually, the FRESH48 sessions take place at the hospital and within the first 48 hours of baby’s arrival. Sam had her heart set on it and so did I (since I LOVE photographing newborns), but our plans had to change just a bit. You know… COVID19 and year 2020… but nothing was going to stop me.
I would set up the shot and angle. Andrew (and then Sam) took turns pressing the shutter via remote control. I don’t know if that makes them my assistants or not, but both of them did an excellent job.

I asked Andrew to step outside to take this photo through their window. We were joking that it would be fun if the neighbors were watching. He was using an umbrella to block off the reflections… so much fun.
Thank you for having me ‘photograph’ another milestone. I will definitely remember this one forever!
